God doesn't have a body like a person that we can see.

We don't know what God looks like because we can't see Him. He is invisible to us because He doesn't have a body like man. God isn't like us. He knows everything, can do anything, and is everywhere at once.

Although we can't see God, we can know about Him. God tells us about Himself in the Bible. The Bible also tells us how God sent His Son, Jesus, to earth as a person. The more we learn about what Jesus was like, the more we know what God is like.

Bible Truth

"But in these last days, he has spoken to us through his Son. He is the one whom God appointed to receive all things. God made everything through him. The Son is the gleaming brightness of God's glory. He is the exact likeness of God's being" (Hebrews 1:2–3a).

"No one has ever seen God. But God [Jesus], the one and only Son, is at the Father's side. He has shown us what God is like" (John 1:18).
