The Bible is God's Word. It tells us about God and His plan for us. The Bible teaches us many things, but Jesus gave its greatest commands: "Jesus answered, ' "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind." This is the first and most important command. And the second command is like the first: "Love your neighbor as you love yourself" '" (Matthew 22:37-39, NCV).
If we love God, we will want to please Him by making choices that honor Him. We can only know which choices please Him by reading the Bible. Read the Bible to know God, His commands, and His plan for your life!
Sadly, you will find that you cannot always make the right choice. That's because you and I are sinners (going our own way and often disobeying God). Find out what Jesus did, so you can be forgiven, follow Him, and live with Him forever someday in heaven -
