Is Jesus our brother?

Here's the answer:

Yes, Jesus is our brother in a way!

Jesus is God in human form. He can feel pain, sorrow, and joy just like we do. The Bible makes it very clear that Jesus is fully God and fully man, but as a human He lived a life free of sin (Hebrews 4:15).

When we look at Jesus as a human, can we say that He is our brother? Well, when Jesus' disciples asked Him to teach them to pray, He started the prayer by saying: "Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored" (Matthew 6:9).

Jesus said, "our Father" not "your father," so Jesus is saying that His Father, God, is our spiritual Father too once we become part of God's family. Since we have the same Father as Jesus does, this would make Jesus our Heavenly Brother. Since Jesus is God, this means He is our Lord, our Father, and our brother.

The most important thing is that we believe in Jesus and that He is our Lord and Savior, because Jesus is the only way to heaven (John 14:6).

"The King (Jesus) will reply, 'What I’m about to tell you is true. Anything you did for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did for me'" (Matthew 25:40).
