Does God care about everything that happens in my life?

Here's the answer:

He sure does! God even cares about the little things.

Sometimes we feel unimportant, unknown, and unloved. In moments like that we might feel like even God can't possibly care about us. But we're wrong, because God does care. He wants us to know that He cares so much that He compares us to a sparrow that falls. Imagine that you’re sitting at home when you see a sparrow had hit your window, hurting himself. You slowly go out, speaking softly and gently, "It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you." You pick him up, cup the bird in your hand, and, because it’s cold outside, take it into the house. You stay inside for a few minutes, allowing the small bird to warm up. After a while, you put it outside and eventually see the sparrow fly away, good as new. That’s exactly how God cares for us!

Jesus uses the picture of the sparrow to show God’s care for the smallest details of our lives—and the big ones too. Here's what Jesus said, "Aren’t two sparrows sold for only a penny? But not one of them falls to the ground without your Father knowing it. He even counts every hair on your head! So don’t be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows" (Matthew 10:29–31).

We can know for sure that God cares about every detail of our lives, because if He cares about sparrows when they fall He will certainly care more for the most important things to Him—us.
