Does God know what I'll be when I grow up?

Here's the answer:

God knows everything about you—even your future!

One of the questions we often talk about with our friends is, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" The answers go from a ballerina, to a professional athlete, a fireman, a teacher, and many more. But as we talk about that, another question might come into our heads: "I wonder if God knows what I am going to be when I grow up?"”

The answer to that question is yes! He does know what you’re going to be when you grow up. Ephesians 2:10 says, "God made us. He created us to belong to Christ Jesus. Now we can do good things. Long ago God prepared them for us to do." God knows what He wants us to be, and His work in our lives begins when we ask Jesus to be our Savior. From then on He directs our thoughts and leads us through the process of discovering what He wants us to be and do. If we follow Him and obey His plans for us, He will give us just the right job and the training we need to do that job.

While we all will have different jobs and careers, there is one thing God wants all of us to be: His children, who will one day live with Him forever. That is the best position we can ever have. He wants us all to know Jesus as our Savior. If you’d like to learn more about asking Jesus to be your Savior, click here.
