Bible people in heaven

People from Bible times will be in heaven.

In heaven, we will see everyone who believed and followed God. That includes people in the Bible. So yes, we will probably see people from Bible times in heaven and may even be able to talk to them!

The most important person you will see is Jesus. He is the one who made the way for sinners to go to heaven. He is God the Son who lived a perfect life, died for sin (bad things we do), and became alive again. Only by trusting Jesus can we go to heaven.

• "Many people will come from the east and from the west and will sit and eat with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 8:11, NCV).
  
  
• "Christ . . . . went into heaven itself and is there now before God to help us. . . . But Christ came only once and for all time at just the right time to take away all sin by sacrificing himself. Just as everyone must die once and then be judged, so Christ was offered as a sacrifice one time to take away the sins of many people. And he will come a second time, not to offer himself for sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him" (Hebrews 9:24, 26b-28, NCV).



• "No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign forever and ever" (Revelation 22:3-5).
