Praying continually means nothing should stop you from prayer. It means you should never give up the habit of praying.

Artwork by VovaDon’t worry. Praying continually doesn’t mean you have to kneel for the rest of your life with your hands folded and eyes closed! You can still do other things.

The more you pray, the more you’ll find you can pray anytime and anywhere, even while you’re on the bus, playing soccer, or doing chores. You don’t have to close your eyes or speak out loud to pray. God can hear your silent prayer.

Praying continually reminds you that God is in control and that you need to obey and rely on God moment by moment. Praying continually helps you be joyful and give thanks to God always.

Bible Truth

“Spend a lot of time in prayer. Always be watchful and thankful” (Colossians 4:2).

“Never stop praying. Give thanks no matter what happens. God wants you to thank him because you believe in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18).
