How did Jesus walk on water?

Jesus is God and has all of the powers that God has – He can do anything!

Just as Jesus turned water into wine, healed the sick, raised people from the dead, made the blind see, and performed many other miracles, He was also able to walk on water when He lived on the earth as a man. Jesus created the entire universe, and He overcame sin on the cross. Through faith in Him, we have salvation from our sins. If Jesus could do all of this, then it should be easy for us to believe that He could also walk on water!

• “During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake” (Matthew 14:25).
  
  
• “…they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were terrified” (John 6:19b).



• “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one” (John 10:28-30).
