How do you become an angel?

Here's the answer:

You can't become an angel, even if you're very good or if you go to heaven.

Some people think we'll become angels if we go to heaven, getting a halo and wings. But the Bible is the truth, and it doesn't teach that humans ever become angels. God created humans differently than angels, just as He created cats differently than fish. A fish will never become a cat, and a cat will never become a fish. A human will never become an angel.

God made both angels and humans able to think and worship God. But He created them different too. He gave humans bodies that can touch and feel, but He made angels as spirits who can travel between heaven and earth, praising God and helping people.

The Bible doesn't teach that humans are angels before they're born or after they die. After humans die, those who trust Jesus as their Savior and Lord will go to heaven. They'll worship, but not as angels. They'll worship Jesus with the angels.

"All things were created by him. He created everything in heaven and on earth. He created everything that can be seen and everything that can't be seen. He created kings, powers, rulers and authorities. Everything was created by him and for him" (Colossians 1:16).

"...'You can be sure that I live,' says the Lord. 'And you can be just as sure that every knee will bow down in front of me. Every tongue will tell the truth to God'" (Romans 14:11).
