Does God exist?

Here's the answer:

The Bible says that we must accept by faith that God exists. Even so, there is evidence that God exists.

Here are some reasons we know God exists:

• The Bible says that “the heavens tell about the glory of God…” (Psalm 19:1–4). Nature points to a Creator. When we see the mountains, planets, stars, oceans, sky, animals, and people, we can be sure that God created them. If the elements in our atmosphere were even a few percentage points different, nearly every living thing on earth would die. God is a great Designer.

• Every effect must have a cause. This universe and everything in it is an effect. There must be something that caused everything to come into existence. That un-caused cause is God.

• Deep within us is the understanding that there is more to this life. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “…He has also given people a sense of who he is….” God put it in our hearts that He exists.

• Every culture throughout history has had some sense of right and wrong. God created us to know the difference.

Even though there is great evidence, people will reject God’s existence. Each person will answer to God one day.

If God has changed your life, you have evidence of His existence. You accepted Him by faith and you can pray that others will accept Him too.

Bible Truth

"Without faith it is impossible to please God. Those who come to God must believe that he exists. And they must believe that he rewards those who look to him" (Hebrews 11:6).

"Then Jesus told him, 'Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen me but still have believed'" (John 20:29).
