Has everyone sinned?

Here's the answer:

Yes. The Bible tells us we have all willingly sinned against God. "Everyone has sinned. No one measures up to God’s glory" (Romans 3:23).

All people have sinned. We all miss the mark. Sin is anything that dishonors God. Sin is something that is wrong according to what God and His commands tell us is right. Have you ever lied to your Mom or Dad? This is an example of a sin. Anytime we disobey, rebel, or go against God, we are sinning.

The Bible tells us we are born sinners. We inherited the sinful nature from Adam. This does not mean we are not responsible for our sin. We have all willingly sinned against God.

God sent His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins. Romans 5:8 says, "But here is how God has shown his love for us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

The good news is that we can be forgiven of our sins by believing in Jesus. When we accept Jesus, God forgives our sins. We are no longer seen as sinners. We are seen as God’s children.
