What does hell look like?
Here's the answer:
The Bible doesn’t tell us exactly what hell looks like, but we know it is a very bad place.
The Bible tells us that hell will be a place of pain (Matthew 8:12), fire (Matthew 25:41), and darkness (Matthew 8:12). Hell is a real place unbelievers will go when they die. Even though we don’t exactly know what hell looks like, we know it is a real place.
Hell is a scary place, but if you believe in Jesus’ gift of salvation, you don’t have to be afraid. Christians will never have to experience hell because we believe in Jesus. We can share the Good News of Jesus with our friends so they can love Jesus and spend eternity with Him in heaven.
"But those who think they belong in the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness. There they will weep and grind their teeth" (Matthew 8:12).
"Then he will say to those on his left, 'You are cursed! Go away from me into the fire that burns forever. It has been prepared for the devil and his angels'" (Matthew 25:41).
"He will punish those who don’t know God. He will punish those who don’t obey the good news about our Lord Jesus. They will be destroyed forever. They will be shut out of heaven. They will never see the glory of the Lord’s strength" (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9).
