Will we eat in heaven?
Here's the answer:
The Bible doesn’t say for sure if we will eat in heaven, but we probably will.
Heaven will be perfect. This means we won’t have to eat to stay alive (Revelation 7:16).
Heaven will also have food. Revelation 22:2 says, "...On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing 12 crops of fruit. Its fruit was ripe every month..." There will be plenty of food to eat for everyone!
Jesus also said, "I say to you that many will come from the east and the west. They will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of heaven..." (Matthew 8:11). It seems like Jesus says we will have a big party in heaven with lots of food.
The Bible does not say, "We will eat Skittles in heaven." However, the information shows we’ll have plenty of food and will probably enjoy eating it.
"Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life. It was as clear as crystal. It flowed from the throne of God and of the Lamb. It flowed down the middle of the city’s main street. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing 12 crops of fruit. Its fruit was ripe every month. The leaves of the tree bring healing to the nations. There will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city. God’s servants will serve him" (Revelation 22:1-3).
"Never again will they be hungry. Never again will they be thirsty" (Revelation 7:16).
