How big is God?

Here's the answer:

God is big enough to create the universe and small enough to know and love us.

Have you ever been to the ocean and noticed how big it is? It seems like the water never ends. When you look up at the sky, it's impossible to reach up and touch it because it's so high. On a clear night, we can see so many stars that we can't even count them. Psalm 147:4 says "He decides how many stars there should be. He gives each one of them a name."

The Bible tells us that God created all of this. Genesis 1:1 says. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." God is big enough and strong enough that He created all the trees, plants, and animals. He created the stars, the sun, and the moon. He even created man and woman. Genesis 1:26 says, "...Let us make man in our likeness..."

God is eternal. That means He has no beginning and no end. He is not a being like we are.

So if God is so big and powerful, does He know who I am? Does He care about me too? Yes He does. Psalm 42:8 says, "During the day the LORD sends His love to me..." Even though you might feel like the tiniest drop in the big ocean, God loves you and knows everything about you. God wants you to be part of His team. He loves you and has very special plans for your life.

To be part of God's team, tell Him you’re sorry for all the bad things you've said or done. Ask Him to give you a new heart attitude. Don't worry, God is big enough to understand everything about you. To learn about the path to forgiveness and heaven, click here.
