What does the Bible say about cancer?
Here's the answer:

The Bible does not talk about cancer by name, but it does talk about diseases and how God will one day end them all.
In the Bible, King Hezekiah was sick with a boil (2 Kings 20:6–8). This boil could have been cancer. Similar to King Hezekiah, many people in the Bible suffered from various diseases. In the present day, we also suffer from various diseases. Being sick and having diseases is terrible. We have diseases, sicknesses, and cancer because of the fall of mankind.
While Jesus was on earth, He healed many people. Anyone who had a disease would come to Him, and He would heal them. This means that if anyone had cancer, Jesus could also heal them. It would be wonderful if Jesus could return and heal all of our diseases now, but He doesn’t work in this way anymore.
Maybe you have a loved one who has cancer. Cancer is a scary word because it can end in death. Don’t be scared. Tell God about what you are feeling and ask Him to help the person with cancer. Ask Him to heal them and help them. If it is in God’s will to heal them, He will. God never wanted anyone to get sick because this is not how He created the world.
He created the world perfect, but sin entered it and destroyed it. As a result of sin, we have sicknesses, cancer, and death. One day, God will create everything new, and there will be no more death, crying, or pain (Revelation 21:4). Everything will be made new, and it will be perfect. Cancer will continue throughout this life, but it will not continue forever.

Bible Truth
"'I will add 15 years to your life. And I will save you and this city from the power of the king of Assyria. I will guard this city. I will do it for myself. And I will do it for my servant David.' Then Isaiah said, ‘Press some figs together. Spread them on a piece of cloth.’ So that’s what they did. Then they applied it to Hezekiah’s boil. And he got well again. Hezekiah had said to Isaiah, 'You say the Lord will heal me. You say that I'll go up to his temple on the third day from now. What will the sign be to prove he'll really do that?'" (2 Kings 20:6–8).
"I will praise the Lord. Deep down inside me, I will praise him. I will praise him, because his name is holy. I will praise the Lord. I won’t forget anything he does for me. He forgives all my sins. He heals all my sicknesses. He saves my life from going down into the grave. His faithful and tender love makes me feel like a king" (Psalm 103:1–4).
