What is the purpose of life?
Here's the answer:
The purpose of life is to accept Jesus as your Savior, to follow Him, and to tell others about Him. We are to glorify God!
As a kid, sometimes it’s sometimes hard to understand your purpose. The world will tell you there are different purposes to your life. You may hear that it is to become famous, have a big following on social media, or to become wealthy. Everything the world promotes as the purpose of life is wrong. It is all meaningless.
The Bible tells you there is a purpose to life and that is to glorify God. You can do that by first accepting Jesus as your Savior. After you have believed in Jesus, you can follow Him and look to Him for guidance. You are also to tell others about Jesus and help others know about Him.
You have a very important purpose in life that only you can accomplish. God has gifted you with many resources in order to glorify Him. Our lives are not meant to serve ourselves. The purpose of every person’s life is to know God, obey Him, and share Him with others. You can accept Jesus today by believing that He died for the bad things you have done, was buried, and rose from the dead (John 3:16-17). God is excited to do life with you!
"God has breathed life into all of Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right" (2 Timothy 3:16).
"Above all, here is what you must understand. No prophecy in Scripture ever came from a prophet’s own understanding. It never came simply because a prophet wanted it to. Instead, the Holy Spirit guided the prophets as they spoke. So prophecy comes from God" (2 Peter 1:20–21).
