How was the Bible put together?

Here's the answer:

The Bible is not just one book, but 66 books together in one cover.

The Old Testament has 39 books. They were written by many leaders, including Moses, David, and Daniel. Around 400 B.C., the final books were completed and Jewish leaders began to make copies of all of the books together.

The New Testament has 27 books. They were written by the apostles of Jesus and their friends during the first century of Christianity. Shortly after the last book was completed, copies started being made of these books together. The early church soon made a list of these books and referred to them as the New Testament and the writings before Jesus as the Old Testament.

"The word of God is alive and active. It is sharper than any sword that has two edges..." (Hebrews 4:12).

"God has breathed life into all Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do what is right. By using Scripture, the servant of God can be completely prepared to do every good thing" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

"Above all, here is what you must understand. No prophecy in Scripture ever came from a prophet’s own understanding. It never came simply because a prophet wanted it to. Instead, the Holy Spirit guided the prophets as they spoke. So prophecy comes from God" (2 Peter 1:20–21).
